Hello!

I am planning a romantic trip to WDW for October at the Beach Club.

It is our first time going and I need all the advice I can get!

What are crowds usually like around the 2nd week in October? I have seen places say light crowds I have seen places say heavy crowds, I am so confused! This is our first time and want to see everything! We are doing a 5 or 6 day hopper ticket.

Congrats!

I personally have never been there the second week of October so I'll leave the crowd data to other posters. Having been around that general time however, I can say with confidence that you should prepare for hot temperatures and humidity.

You are going during the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot and staying at the Beach Club puts you in the lucky position to be able to walk to Epcot or take the water taxi whenever you please to check out the beauties of World Showcase and the festival. I can't decipher if you've actually booked Beach Club yet or not, but if you haven't I would get on it like yesterday since that area books up quick due to the festival.

Not sure what your party looks like or their interests, but maybe you'll want to investigate attending Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party at MK. It's a special ticketed event and I've heard it's super fun.

Happy planning!

We were there last year during this time and it was a definite 7 on a scale from 1 to 10. Unfortunately, there is very few low crowd days anymore.

It was humid. I suggest investing in a cooling towel. We brought one last year for a family of five. We are bringing 5 this year!!

If you avoid food and wine on the weekends, you will breeze thru most lines. Have a great trip!
