First timer, am I being too ambitious?

Hi there,

We are having our first holiday in the US, Orlando Aug 9-23. Two adults and two kids 4 and 8. 13 days in total to enjoy. Staying in a villa and renting a car.

I need to buy our tickets. WDW is a must, other than that we hear we should do Universal and sea life. I can get the freedom ticket which gives us 9 days WDW (to use within 14 days), unlimited Universal, unlimited Seaworld aquatica and BG.

Is this too much? I am wondering whether I am buying too much?

Any help much appreciated!!

Thanks you.

OK changed my proposal to 14 day unlimited WDW, US, IOA, Sealife, BG, Aquatica and wet n wild.

Looks good? Anything else we should be wanting to visit (although I'm not sure we will have enough hours :))?

I think you are good for now. You will have a very busy, but fun 14 days.

I think I am confused was your original ticket 9 days at WDW PLUS unlimited use at the other parks? Or did I read it wrong? I haven't been to BG or Aquatica. But you will probably want three days at US/IOA one for each park and one to go back to highlights and one for Sea World. I found SW to be the most relaxed of all the parks so you might make that a mid-trip park. They do have some great rides but also great shows.

I think if you had 9 at WDW AND then the other days at the other parks you will be fine. Since you are off property and driving yourself you won't want to be going to Universal all day AND then go to a WDW park.

be sure to schedule a day off in the middle.. a pool day.. a rest day.. or a trip to the beach day or so.. WHY? because too many parks too soon or too much together, and you get messed up.. take a day off, or two days off.. enjoy.. too many rides , too much ..not good for your system.. one man's opinion.. enjoy your trip..

Right you don't want to need a vacation after your vacation.

Totally agree! You need a rest day or as I like to call it a 'mommy shopping day'.
