First time with a digital camera

We are going to bring a digital camera with us on our upcoming trip. My wife wanted me to ask if there is anywhere on (Or close to) Disney property where we can go to upload pictures from our memory sticks onto CDs so that we can take more pictures when we run out of memory.

. All the professionals that i know stick ONLY to sandisk and lexar. (PhotoRescue is a godsend)

Support that one too. The cards of choice for UK military photogs.

I got a 512 Sandisk in Costco for the equivilant of £45, shame it was left on the bed at home when we travelled.

ok if you take alot of pictures like this your best bet would probubly get more flash cards. they are not that expensive. I get mine from http://www.newegg.com . Prices are really good and their shipping and support are fantastic. However if you don't want to carry a bunch mem cards with you then I suggest a device that will copy them for you. I suggest the Addonics MFR

http://www.steves-digicams.com/2003_reviews/addonics_mfr.html

The MFR performs 18 different functions:

* 8 different type of Flash memory media can be copied to CD-R or CD-RW (CompactFlash Type I and II, SmartMedia, Secure Digital, Multi-Media card, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Pro or Microdrive)

* 8 function player - DVD to TV, DVD to PC, CD, VCD, Still photo on TV, Still photo via projector, S-Video, MP3 audio

* 2 optical recording media - CD-R or CD-RW

with this you can play any CD you buy instantly in your hotel room. If you get a DVD while your there you can watch it before going to bed. copy your digital camera pics to CD and display them on your hotel TV to view them. and best of all you could get it for under $180

Look here
http://www.dealtime.com/xPC-Addonics_18_JN_1_MULTI_FUNCTION

"The Addonics MFR comes as a very complete package and includes: The complete package (Model # AEMFR824) includes the Addonics MFR unit, remote control unit, rechargeable battery, 110/220 power adapter, three-foot USB cable, combo A/V cable, S-video cable, Win98/98SE driver CD, Power DVD and Nero Express software, user guide, and carrying bag.
