This will be my first ever visit to any Disney place. I am beyond excited at the thought of being there. Our dates are arriving to Pop Century late Feb 23 and leaving March 1. I will be 26 and my brother will be 21. What are your suggestions for the order we should do the theme parks with it being our first time. We have a five day park hopper and are open to suggestions :)

The first day we are there DHS is the park that is most recommended based on crowd levels but MK has EMH in the evening. Would you head back to MK in the evening even though during the day it has a 9 out of 10 rating?

If you go to DHS, make sure that you get there early and head straight to Toy Story and either ride it or get a fast pass. That line becomes long and unbearable quite quickly, no matter what the crowd level of the park is.

If it was me, I would probably head over to MK for the EMH. In general, evening EMH tends to be less crowded that morning EMH - and with fewer kids. I tend to prefer the evening EMH because it is easier for me to stay up late than it is to get up early. Others prefer morning EMH because they are early risers. Just keep in mind that not ever attraction will be open. Also, the MK has a very different feel in the evening than it does during the day. And there is nothing like riding Splash and BTM in the dark.

oh man, first time... DEFINITELY Magic Kingdom.

The rest will fall into place and feel natural, but on your first day you need to enter through those turnstiles, walk under the railroad and boom, there is that castle!

Depending on how late you get in the first night, I might go to Downtown Disney and get a flavor of Disney there. The first day in the parks is always MK. When you look down Main Street and see the castle at the end, you know you're there. Be there at rope drop for the ceremony, it's pretty cool. Your first time, you want to be immersed in everything Disney, but don't forget to see all the little things, like hidden Mickey's and so much more in the details. To me, that's what Disney is all about, the details. After hitting a few rides in MK, skedaddle out of there because weekends are the busiest days at the MK. Park hop over to another you may have an interest in. Use Touringplans or another place on the internet, just do a search "best days to visit park Walt Disney World" and it will guide you into a site to let you know which park historically is best on which day. We have used this method and NEVER waited more than 20 minutes for anything, even in summer months. Take your time and enjoy it all. DO NOT do COMMANDO. It will wear you out and you'll lose some of the enjoyment. Besides, once you've been there once, you'll be back. Heck, we decided to move here! Have fun!
