Hi Everybody! I need to get your thoughts on my ADR's for October. This my first time back since 1977 - I can hear the gasps now. I'll have my 6yr old twin daughters - hence princess
Day 0 - Mickey's Backyard BBQ
Day 1 - BOQ - Quick Service (Lunch)| No ADR's planned - thoughts?
Day 2 - Tusker House (Breakfast) | Rainforest Cafe DD (Dinner)
Day 3 - Tony's Town Square (Dinner)
Day 4 - Akershaus (Breakfast) | Coral Reef (Dinner)
Day 5 - CRT Dinner (BBB before) + MNSSHP
Day 6 - Chef Mickey's (Breakfast) | Sci-Fi (Dinner)
Thoughts? Anything that I should consider revising or worth trying to fit in?
Thank you as always!
Just as a word of warning, Akershaus really isn't that good. If you're looking for characters, go for it, but if you're looking for food, you may want to reconsider.
Sci fi is a very cool restaurant and has very good food...for lunch that is. The atmosphere is great for dinner, but the past three times we've gone there for dinner the food has been crap. For some reason it's a better lunch option that dinner option. I would suggest changing it to Prime Time Cafe, which has some "comfort food" options or Mama Melrose's, which has Italian, though Prime Time tends to be the better option food-wise, plus it's a fun environment for your girls.
Tony's has been off recently (just not as good as it used to be, service is slow and crappy). If you can, get Be Our Guest, but it's rather hard to get, so if you can't get that one, Tony's will be fine. BOG your girls would absolutely love being into princesses. It looks exactly like Beauty and the Beast and the food is superb.
Coral Reef is another one that we find tends to be hit or miss (some people love it, for me it's meh.) A good one is Teppan Edo, which is a Japanese steakhouse. We've never had a bad meal there, but do check out the menu to make sure your girls will eat what's on it. Les Chefs de France is another excellent one, and if you go early enough, Remy from Ratatouille visits your table. They also do have "kid food" on their menu (chicken strips, burger, etc.) If you still want seafood, Cape May Cafe, which is at the Beach Club resort, a two minute walk from the back of Epcot, is excellent. It's a buffet and the seafood is always great.
Kona Cafe at the Polynesian is absolutely fantastic for breakfast. I definitely recommend checking that one out.
