First Time for Star Wars Weekends

We currently have a trip planned for May 24-June 3 and it will be our first time for Star Wars weekends and it will be the first time since 2008 that I plan to see Fantasmic. Currently, we have two days planned for HollyWood Studios, which are Wednesday and Friday of our trip. I plan to have supper at Mama Melrose and do the Fantasmic Dinner package, and for our other supper, I am currently planning for HollyWood & Vine, in hopes that they will have the special character dinner that they had this year (with the Disney Characters dressed as Star Wars characters).

It is my understanding that the star wars character meal was only on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, which would mean that I would need to plan that restaraunt on Friday and Mama Melrose on Wednesday. Of course, I realize that there is no guarantee that they will have that character experience again at HollyWood & Vine. But what about Fantasmic? Several years ago, they offered it every night, but then they switched to only having it on certain nights. Is that still so, or is it back to every night again? If it is only on certain nights, are there particular days where they generally have it all the time? Or does it depend on the particular month? Is there a good bet that they would be offering it on a Wednesday, or should I plan on reshuffling my days to put DHS on a different day?

The star wars character meals were not on weekends only.

I went to both the breakfast and the dinner - really enjoyed both meals!

The 180 day mark for booking your ADR's is not until November 11th. Hopefully by then some information may have been released about the Star Wars events. If not, go with your original plans and book your ADRs - you can always change them when the Stars Wars details are announced
