First Time DisneyLAND Tips

I've always gone to the Magic Kingdom but this summer I'm going to Disneyland.

I'd like to get some advice as well. Thinking about going there after my college graduation next year for the park and D23 (never been but have been at WDW 5 times).

Grab the Unofficial guide and use it! DL is very different in scope, feel, and operations than WDW. Don't assume that anything is the same, even though many of the attractions are similar. I always get a chuckle from friends who go to DL for the first time after so many visits at WDW. "It's so small"!!! It is, but you have to take the time to explore and enjoy. DL Park, much more so than California Adventure, has so many nooks and crannies, and so much history..........it really is the greatest theme park on the planet.
