I am not very keen on getting off the ship when it docks in Nassau. If we choose to stay on the ship, what, if anything, is open and available for our use? Spa? Restaurants?

Our Eastern Caribbean this summer didn't include Nassau, but I did stay on ship (Fantasy) while we were in port. I didn't try shops or spa, but fitness and Cabanas were open, as was theater. Of course, dinner as regular. Also all the outside stuff (soft-serve, fruit, sandwiches, drink stations) on pool deck were open.

No shops will be open. There will be usual food service with the exception of Palo &/or Remy. There will be lots of activities scheduld onboard, pools open, theater showing movies, mixology & tastings for adults, kids clubs open, etc. Just make sure if you need anything from sundries you get that the night before. The shops won't open on Nassau day until after you leave port in the evening. Enjoy!

The spa is definitely open. They usually run specials on port days because a lot of people get off of the ship. We never go to Nassau and love how there are less people on board(makes the buffet lines way smaller :D).

In addition to the shops being closed, ship provided cell service is also not avaialble. Cell service is turned off a couple of miles from port and is not turned on again until you are back out to sea.

You MAY be able to pick up a cell signal from Nassau itself,. I believe the provider there is LIME.

Of course if you were not planning on burning money by using your cell, then none of this matters.

Thanks

Lots of people enjoy the ship in port and Disney does a great job of providing activities throughout the ship during the port times.
