Just got back from Pop. The walk to the food court at AoA isn't too bad. The food court at Pop is pretty good. The cheesecake has def. gone down in size. :( I don't think you will be unhappy with the change.
Thanks for the update! Hope you had a great time. Speaking of that, how was your stay, and if you don't mind, what building where you in? I'm in the 60's...and I'm not hearing good things about that location..as far as noise, but it looks like a straight run to the bridge.

How do you know you're staying in the 60's ? we are also going this september to the pop, I booked a Preferred as well, but have no idea where we'll be staying.

You can request a building to stay in but no guarantees. WDW will normally honor your request when you check in. Last 5 yrs. always got building we requested (50's) grand kids love the closeness to pool.and No building is located to far from main bldg.

This trip we were in the 50's 5362 to be exact. Which was 3rd floor, facing the pool 2nd room from the corner. So basically we were one room away from the stairwell. This was super close to our food court, pool and buses. It was a bit longer to walk to AoA but nothing impossible or painful. lol.

ooops....I think we were in the 60s section not 50s. Sorry. We were right next to the hippy dippy pool. Walk out the door and there you are. 2nd room closest to the food courts...but 3rd floor.
