First Thing You Do in Each Park

MK - The WDRR - the train ALWAYS comes first w/ my family lol

Epcot - The WS side, usually starting w/ Canada

MGM - ToT, of course

AK - CtE

MK - get in line for popcorn and then walk through Adventureland on our way to Splash and Thunder mountain. Sometimes we stop at Pirates

AK - we head right for the safari

EPCOT - we go through the world showcase entrance and stop for fish and chips in england

MGM - RnRC all the way!!!

First thing I do is smile!

Then:

MK: Make Reservation for Lunch at the castle (always get one). Then go to Haunted Mansion!

Epcot: Get Fastpass for Test Track then ride spaceship earth.

MGM: I never had a first here.

AK: Safari Fastpass.. then hope to see a Gorilla.

MK: Usually Fantasyland. It's in the back of the park and most people start in the front. If a bunch of people are heading that way, I just out run them. I'm not waiting an hour for that wacky Snow White ride!

MGM: Star Tours/Muppets 3D. They're right next to each other.

AK: Dinosaur, of course!

Epcot: FIGMENT!!!!!! I ride it about 15 times then finally move on to something else.

I can't wait til I get there next week!

I do what every true Disney fan does......check the pin carts. First day I visit every single major pin cart on property, minus a few of the resorts, but even then I do travel to some of them.

I was just joking about the true Disney fan remark.

MGM: Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

EPCOT: If there's no lines...Spacship Earth. If there IS a line...Ice Station Cool for some Watermelon drinks.:slurp:

Early Park Admission

First thing we do is eat breakfast. We usually make early reservations so we get in the park before it opens. Then we do the following:

MK - Buzz Lightyear
Epcot - Test Track
AK - Jungle Safari
MGM - Tower of Terror

I have to say that I usually first ride:

MK: (head towards Tomorrow Land) TTA! then Buzz or AE
EPCOT: Just walk around
STUDIOS: RnRC then ToT (and One Man's Dream)
AK: Safari! (Take many pics) then Dinosaur

But hey, I just go to Disney to get re-acquainted with the park and just walk around an take in the atmosphere...its soothing. I think its time for another trip.:brick:

It is interesting how many of you have similar "first things"!

MK - usu. Pirates, lately i've gone directly over to Splash get a fast pass and go ride Pirates or BTM.

AK - Enjoy the oasis and head strt. to Kilamanjaro

MGM - i haven't been to MGM in the morning on my last few visits, but when i do arrive i head strt down sunset and grab a fast pass for either RnR or TOT then ride the one i didn't get the fast pass.

Epcot - i always take my time walking in. Music is so dramatic with SE rising above you. When I was a kid, my dad and I would always scout out from the monorail what ride was the emptiest..usu. world of motion or horizons, ride those, then head over to WS, usu. canada first (so he and my mom could go to the pub late morning - such alkies..j/k ). Now i usu. head strt for TT get a fast pass and do the single rider line. Come out and do TT all over again.

at MK, AK, and MGM i like to go look at the times board first...at epcot i just head for test track.

How much should I bring?

We are going to Disney on May 21, 2003. We have five of us, me, my husband, and 3 kids, ages 11, 4, and 2. We will be staying at All-Star Movie Resort for 4 days, 5 nights. What can we expect to spend while we are at Disney?? We are planning on eating mostly fast food anyway because of the kids but definately want to get a few souveniers. What should I expect to bring??

Your going 5 nights/4 days so I would figure with food and souveiners for 3 kids at least $800.00. That's if you split all the food with the kids. I mean at least the youngest, I wouldn't buy a seperate meal for.
