Yes, this years competiton is intitled STACK ATTACK. This was the robotics competiton that visited WDW last year.

Here's what happens.

Stack Attack consists of one centralized ramp 2 feet hight and 29 Sterilite 73 quart bins on top. When the match starts, 2 human players from each alliance (there are two) place 4 bins each inside their scoring zone in anyway. Then once they are out, the robots enter an autonomous phaze where it works on it's own to destroy stacks of bins, get bins in their field, or protect their bins. Then human players take over and they have to get as many bins (45 in total) in their scoring zone to win!

Here's an animation to help you understand!

Sweet! When's this year's competition in Epcot? I'd love to see it in person! I've heard great things about it! If you're in it, good luck .

yeah, this years game kinda sucks. And what was with the whole "i apoligize for not apoligizing for this not being fair" Gaaa, this was such a dumb game idea!!! Only like 15 seconds of robot compitition, and we don't even control the robot!!!

It looks like you misunderstand. The robot runs on it's own for 15 seconds and then is controlled by human player for a minute and 45 seconds. Giving a total of 2 minutes of competition. Compared to the last two years, I think the game is better. Of course I didn't mentor the last two years. I am back at it this year.

And to the other question, no it will not be at EPCOT this year. Price and dates were a factor. It is doubtful that it will ever return to EPCOT as well. Sorry. :(

Crud! :brick: I knew I should have worked at one of the previous years events! :brick: I know the cast members who helped set up the event and they asked me if I wanted to help out. Gosh darn it, I should have worked the event!!!! DOH!
