First magical cupcake

Good grief, why is that? My gosh, peanut butter treats rate right up there with chocolate with me! Like Vitani88 said, I don't think I could do without them.

We can get Reeses peanut butter cups in some stores plus recently we now have a peanut butter chunky kitkat but apart from that, nothing! It's my favourite chocolate combination!

Wow! We have peanut butter everything over here. Cookies, fudge, ice cream, brownies....you name it and we put peanut butter with it. I really feel for you all!

I'm sure there are a few places that have their own, better cupcakes, but most of the cupcakes all over WDW are the same...and they aren't very good. The rice krispie trats are also not too hot.

I'm not trying to dump on Disney, I just don't want you to be too disappointed.

IMO, the best treats are at the Boardwalk Bakery.

I totally disagree with this statement. You can find lots of unique cupcakes at WDW... Red Velvet and Butterfinger at Starring Rolls, Zebra cupcake and Simba paw print brownie (not a cupcake but still as delicious) at Kusifari Bakery in AK.. Cappucino cupcake at Pizza Planet. I do notice that mostly Sweet Spells, Confectionary in Mk carry the typical choc or vanilla cupcake with colored icing and those are pretty much the same at both places. But WDW is a great place to find different kinds of cupcakes!

I would go with the Red Velvet cupcake at Starring Rolls for your first one! OR - if you're more a vanilla cupcake lover, the Marble one there is pretty good too!! Declicious buttercream frosting!

I'm waiting to try my first cupcake in 16 days, first on my list is the PB one from SRs !!!! We don't really have PB treats here in the UK

Wha!!??? For real!? Yikes. I don't know what I'd do without peanut butter.
If I was allergic to it I'd be walking around bloated covered in hives and carrying an epi-pen.

Well I see you're from Canada...so unless they've got a ban on Peanut Butter like they apparently do in the UK
then my first suggestion would be Red Velvet from Starring Rolls.
But if O' Canada is oppressing it's citizens with crazy UK style peanut butter laws then make a break for the PB cupcake ASAP!

No ban of Peanut Butter in the part of Canada where I am! If so I know a lot of people who would be really sad lol. For now, I think the war for the first cupcake trophy is between the red velvet and the PB cupcake! But the Vanilla Karamel one in Epcot caught my eye to .

If you are staying at Pop Century, you can try "The King" cupcake - chocolate cake, peanut butter frosting, banana custard, candied bacon sprinkles, and chocolate drizzle for good meaure!

Agreed! They have the generic chocolate and vanilla cupcakes (which are still awesome, btw) at a couple of downtown locations and in some of the hotels with less unique options. But overall, WDW has the most amazingly amazing cupcakes ever! And I've done my research!

Nice cupcake, go early when the caramel on top is nice & fresher
