First Haircut/Barber Shop Meltdown

I'm really sorry about your experience. We just got my son's first hair cut (15 months) and we had reservations too we waited in a line out the door. Finally a half hour later someone walked in and said they had reservations at 10:30. They took them next. We had resevations at 10!

That's when I finally spoke up. I was in the shop on the bench waiting. The barber said you should have spoke up. I stood there with my mouth open. Spoke up? How? We were outside and not one person asked who's next or if anyone had reservations.

The barber Michael did make up for our wait. We were out 15 minutes later. We had a certificate, Mickey ears, and lots of stickers when we left. Plus one really cute kid!

Then he should have got a little pixie dust on top!
He didn't want any glitter or anything but Micheal (though I know he spells it differently I can't remember how exactly it is) told me to get my camera ready and put some on his head anyway. It was really funny and I have a great shot with Love going "OH!" and making a face. :D

My friends took their little boy in on Aug 1 of this year for his first haircut and they were told it was first come, first served - no reservations. (They had called ahead to try to make a reservation.) It wasn't a big deal as when they got there, we only waited about 10 minutes for an open chair. (There was a big group of us to watch this child get his first haircut - Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, my husband & myself.) I have to say, I was really impressed with the barber. She took the time to make sure that the little boy was calm & comfortable.

Sounds like guest services needs to get their policy straightened out.
