I just booked a 3 night Disney Cruise on the Wonder.

I need all the help I can get, what to pack, what to do, what will it be like, things I cannot miss but will be able to fit in a measly three night cruise, I need it all. Educate me.

I am a huge Disney buff, but I know very little about Disney Cruise and Cruising in general.

HELP ME! :)

BUYER BEWARE[/
The so-called "deals" on jewelry in Nassau are mostly BS. The big companies that run the jewelry stores pay BIG money to the cruise lines for promoting their jewelry. They have excellent training and high pressure salespeople. The only thing you can really save on is tax. Even liquor is nearly full price down there. St Maarten had AWESOME deals on liquor 50-80% cheaper there. 1 liter Absolutes 4/$20!!! Crown Royal 1.75L for $17, ABSINTHE is LEGAL THERE, not that I brought any of that back with me:lookaroun Another thing about the islands you need to keep in mind is -STAY ON THE BEATEN PATH! I have friends in Tortola in the BVI and they tell me some messed up stories.Stay with other tourists and avoid backstreets and areas where you will be out of sight. The police down there are not like up here, robbery and corruption are common. Act like a tourist-stay with other tourists and don't do anything stupid. Cuban cigars are legal there also so stock up on the Cohibas but Customs will snake them if you get caught bringing them back.

We have cruised with RC many times and love them, we are booked on our 1st Disney Cruise for June '06. Can't wait. The casinos on RC ships are all pretty much the same, however one note, if you are bothered by smoke you may want to steer clear of the tables as they are very close together and the smoke gets pretty thick around them. My wife has asthma and can't be around while I am playing blackjack due to the smoke. The slots aren't as bad but still the whole place is pretty smokey.
On a side note. I would suggest using a passport as opposed to the birth certificate. In my experience it is much quicker to embark/disembark using a passport. But both (passport and birth certificate) can be used until 12/28/06 after that you are required to use a passport.
Also lamarvenoy makes a good point stick to the beaten path with the others.

Just take them out of the box and take the bands off. Discard the box and and bands. Then there's no way to tell where the cigars came from.

I just booked the Disney cruise too. But not until May 2007. My sister just went and said it is great. She said the shows are a not miss. She also said dinner a palo is a must do. I know how I am so looking forward to it. We are waiting one year which seems far but it is really not. Because my boys will be 3 and 5 then and they can both do the kids stuff on the ship with out it costing more. I do not know if you got the DVD from disney but it is great. We are also dong 3 days at Disney. since we are waiting a year we could do both. Hope you have a great trip let us all know how it was. And what you think is a must see or do.
