We are looking at our first Disney Cruise for this October (Halloween week). It would be me, my wife, our 3 y/o daughter and 1 1/2 y/o son. We are split between the 5 day Magic western caribbean cruise in a Concierge 1BR suite and the 7 day Fantasy western caribbean cruise in a 4A deluxe family oceanview stateroom with veranda. Any advice to help us make up our minds?? Thanks!!

Well that's tough. I always say longer is better, but the 5 night would be on the brand new Disney Magic so that would be pretty awesome. I don't think you have a bad choice there! :)

What is your itinerary for both?

Well a 1BR for a 5 Night… I would really consider that. The Magic is being redone and should be awesome. Plus if this is your first cruise ever start smaller and then head bigger… trust me you will be back anyway!

I have been both the classics and the new ships, and my preference is the classics. They are much more intimate, and seem to be less rushed. While normally I would go with a longer cruise and the 7-nights on the Fantasy, 5-nights on the reimagined Magic would probably win out with me. What are the exact itineraries for both? That might also factor into my decision.
