I'd say it depends on whether or not he gets you back safely to the Poly.

I tipped 25% on our fireworks cruise.

We always tip well, especially when vacationing. And since covid has hurt so many people, we have been tipping above what we would normally do just to support those who are working to catch up on their needs. It wouldnt matter which resort we are leaving from. As long as the captain is interacting and delivering a pleasant trip we'd tip 25% or more. As you should, tip what your budget allows what you can afford to.

We had two families on board this week and we both tipped $20 each so $40 total, but he was amazing. We were the front boat for the EWP and MK fireworks.
