Fireworks cancellation

In the past 7 days, Disneyland Forever has been cancelled 3 times due to high winds at higher altitudes. My question is, is this actually common to have this much bad luck in such a short period of time?

It's not Santa Ana season yet. The wind speed on the ground were relatively calm so honestly it comes as a surprise that the winds at higher altitudes were too quick for fireworks. When the Santa Ana's start, it's very obvious there will not be any fireworks that day.

We have also seen the fireworks cancelled multiple times on a single visit. It usually happens to us when we are there in December and January.

Visiting at the end of September to start of October. Staying over two weekends since the fireworks are usually only on weekends that time of year. How bad are the winds that time of year?

It got much warmer today, our first big hit of summer weather, and the Disneyland Forever fireworks are currently performing as I type this. They did start about 12 minutes late, however.

They started 5 minutes late when I saw them on 6/5, but they were right on time on 6/6. Unfortunately, they do get cancelled for high winds occasionally.
