ironically isn't this the 2nd time its been burned now... in mid 90s it went up in flames and had to be replaced along with a chunk of new york if I remember. Movie sets are not made to last, but can be replaced and fixed rather quickly.

I think they mention that on one of the DVD's of BTTF. It was ironicly stroke by lightning.
