Was Chief Smokey available to assist or is he still on COVID furlough?

Nothing illogical with this response…..there’s probably a very good reason for them to drive down Main Street, even if it’s not readily evident. A structure fire response will include units responding from several different stations, and the response will be preplanned. They have to take into account hydrant locations, FDC locations, building layout, access for specialty units, exposures. Then you have to account for backstage obstacles. Were these units out of the station when they received this call? Honestly surprised we don’t see this more often.

Very very bizarre…

like I can come up with 10 ways without using Main Street
Given that it's a party night, it's likely that entertainment had already started staging for the first parade behind the Frontierland gate, making the Main Street gate the next best option, especially if the alpha units were already standing by (as they sometimes do) behind MS west.

Look at the road access to get to Main Street.. it loops around the west side of MK and you go past two road access points to adventureland.

The fact this has been so rare is what made it stand out as unusual - not the fire/EMS response in the park, but that they took this route.

Someone talking parade staging makes a lot of sense.. considering tonight is a AH party with parade.
