Shocked, horrified, excited, against it, for it, interested, puzzled, and happy all at the same time.

I really have no idea what I feel. On one hand it is very cool and a great idea for that pavilion, on the other hand it is EPCOT, but I guess E.P.C.O.T. and EPCOT are no longer the same place.

Well, one thing is for sure.... it will suck the crowds back into the Sea.

Couldn't have said it better myself...atleast interesting stuff is happening with the pavilion (not sure if its the best direction to go), I just hope the pavilion will not lose its whole sea base feel...

Actually, Disney did change the name for just that reason...

Originally, it was EPCOT, but the Disney company soon changed it to Epcot, so that it no longer standed for something (that it wasn't)...

From the pictures I like it so far, I will tell you more when I get back in Jan and see it for myself in person. My 2 year old DD has always loved the living seas, one thing that looked disapointing from a personal standpoint is it looked a lot more crowded, I liked living seas as an escape. While I like Nemo being around, I hope they didn't change the rock in the frount with the splash, I loved that. My brother in law just took a good picture of little PhD there over our last trip Aug, so at least I have that.

I think they need a new movie, no one stays for the old one. Also it would be cool if they had an enteractive ray area where kids could touch them (many other aquairms do.)

I believe you may be able to touch the rays in Mr. Ray's Lagoon.

The main sign is still intact, but there may be a few alterations to further the guests knowledge that "Nemo is here!" over the next year.

Long as they don't pull a Dinosaur! on us and change it from "The Living Seas" to "Finding Nemo: Live the Adventure!" or something.

THEY GOT RID OF THE TALL TUBE AQUARIUM!!!!!!1111!!!

Sorry for yelling, but I always thought that was a cool thing to see. Fish swam around that thing at different levels, and you could see it both from up high and down low. Not only that, but there were different environments for fish to swim. Some fish only swam by the rocks near the bottom. Others only swam near the top. And there was that shark that always swam around the edge of the tube, hoping to escape one day.

Otherwise, everything looks decent. Granted, it is pretty much a simple facade inside the pavilion, but the new exterior portion looks decent.

If they do it right, and don't cramp the budget too much, this really could be a nice replacement / reworking of the pavilion.

Ditto... Although I am a little confused about what I actually think about the idea, change can be good, like Rafiki says...

It rained, and rained, and rained, and rained, and then Nemo came!

Im so happy that Nemo is finally here.. I went to TLS this summer and it was so boring it was almost pathetic.. I went in there and was out within 5 minutes.. With the new Nemo characters (and hopefully more to come) it will give me and others a better reason to stay longer and check it out...

Some people are jsut mad no matter what the change is because those people do not know how to adapt. I think it is great the have this kind of thing to bring people to Living Seas again, I jsut had no idea it was gonn ahappen this quickly, but YAY!

Went by to see it today. The figures outside are a great way to bring people into TLS, the preshow is of course the same. The shop now has a TON of Nemo stuff, of course. The Nemo exhibit is the first hub on your left once you exit your hydrolator. The rest of TLS is the same.

No. There is no way that the TLS can go completely Nemo. "And in this room coral reef fish, and in the room next to this some more reef fish". I think it is fine the way it is. The new refreshing with the new Nemo room is just enough, maybe bring that little people mover thing, but that's it to me. I really think the rehab it'sjust touch up normal maintainence. I think you would / should enjoy the new additions as is.

Although I agree with you, plans don't seem to be going that way. March/April 2004 looks like the time when a LOT of the pavilion will be changed to add Nemo. (Preshows, Hydrolaters, Sea Cabs, perhaps?, or maybe simple images throughout the pavilions).

pretty cool news grizzly maybe that will move some ideas about changing the whole thing towards nemo now that they have a big hit w/ fish in it :sohappy:
b/c u must admit the old living seas is boring i don't think i been there once and i been to disney 25 times but i do enjoy the coral reef restuarnt that has to be the only good spot at the living seas and the water cliffs outside is good and refreshing in the summer sun:lol:
