Finding Captain Hook - help needed

G'day Guys,

I have a 3 year old who will be visiting the World for the first time later this month and she is desperate to meet Captain Hook.

My research indicates he is not the easiest character to find.

Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Last time I was there in 2011, Hook and Smee were alternating sets with Jack Sparrow and Angelica in Caribbean Plaza.

We stumbled upon Captain Hook in Epcot back in February. We just happened to spot him and Mr. Smee in a random spot. It was almost like an alley, I think in between Canada and UK.

You need to plan a Disney Cruise. No problems seeing him there.

We saw him a few times outside of Peter Pan on several occasions. He was with Mr. Smee.

As soon as you get into the park, find a location that has a phone. Ask a cast member where you can find the old codfish, and they'll call the CHIP hotline. There are people who sit around all day and answer phones to tell cast members when and where characters will be meeting that day. They'll give you all the sets and locations you could need

the best place to see him would probably be character palooza at DHS, he is a regular there.

We had the same experience in August - the Cpt, Smee, and a bunch of other random characters just "magically" appeared from an alley in World Showcase. One of the CM's indicated it was a group of new CM's in training, just getting some interaction with guests.

I met him once a few years back right across the Pirates of the Carribean ride. He was with Smee!

He was at Hollywood Studios last week on the Streets of America during "pop up surprise". The first set of that started at 4:30ish and lasted about 20 minutes. There usually another set around 5:20. They day I was there he was out, but I've heard of days when he hasn't appeared. Good luck finding him!!

Ran into him about 5 years ago with Mr. Smee across from Pirates...they were doing meet and greet with photos. However that is the only time I've seen him the past 5 years...
