Trip Report Finally! My birthday weekend!

I will be spending my birthday at WDW next weekend. Staying at CSR 2/7 - 2/10. I am going to attempt to do a mini live trip report.

I will be spending most of my time at Epcot, MK, and the resorts. Skipping AK and DHS this time. Can't wait!

Going to hang out at the Polynesian for a while. Later I am having dinner at BOG.

Wow I had the same issues in 2012 when we stayed there on the Cabana side. I was hoping by now it had been resolved with the emphasis on MM+

Looks delicious. Even if you hadn't mention "spicy" it was quite evident from the red pepper flake to sauce ratio that meal was gonna put a little glow on you. .Hmmmmmm spicy food gives drinking cold alcoholic drinks even more meaning.

Sorry guys, I was not impressed with BOG.
I had a much better experience there at lunch.

That's because you didn't order the steak....I had the steak the first time and that dish in your pic the second time and hated it and I like scallops and that is suppose to be their signature dish...and it just I don't know...the scallops were a bit rare for me and it wasn't hot and the pastry puff wasn't flaky so much as it was crumply....
If you eat steak, go back and order it that for your entree. So far everyone of us who have had the steak entree have been quite happy.

I decided to hop on the bus to DHS and from there I wanted to take the boat over to Boardwalk. But when I got off the bus at DHS, I decided to walk inside to check out the gift shop. I' m glad I did because there were empty tables at the Brown Derby outdoor lounge. Yay! Another thing I can cross off my list!

I have to say - I had this dish in September and my wife had the steak, (yeah I'm a fat a$$ and sampled hers too..back off) I was very impressed with both. To be honest I was extremely impressed with the over all experience (food, service, atmosphere) there.

I heard so many bad things about the food there that I almost didn't book it. I'm glad I'm hard headed we went anyway. I'll go back until they let me down.

I'm enjoying this immensely, but for some reason 'm beginning to build up a bit of resentment and hatred toward you...Why? I'm not sure.

Hmmmm...let me analyze this for a bit. It might have something to do with the fact that:

1. I always want to be in WDW
2. You're in WDW and I'm not.
3. It's freaking ridiculously cold and snowy here in CT
4. I'm working.
5. I'm currently embroiled in a mind numbing "lessons learned" document

Just hunch though.
