About four weeks ago, I sent a letter to Big Mike asking for reasons why I was no longer allowed to work at The Disney Store (I am 16 years old, I was a casual seasonal castmember over the 2003 holiday season).
In the letter, I wrote how I did not expect the letter to get anywhere near his hands...yet suprisingly, it did! It went straight to his desk, and then he forwarded the letter to the Disney Store department of the company.
Tonight, around 6:30 I recieved a phone call (but was busy at the time, and had my phone on silent). Later, around 9 oclock, I noticed I had missed a call and a voice mail was left. It was Rich Meyer of the Disney Stores calling me. He left me his number, and told me that if I didn't get ahold of him within the next few days... he would try to contact me again. He told me that my letter had very valid points, and that he would like to discuss them with me.
While I am extremely extatic to even have the chance to talk to a Disney person about this, who the heck is Rich Meyer? Is he someone big in The Disney Store?
I'll let you all know how the conversation goes... I expect it to be rather good.
