Filter all posts by a specific member in a thread?

Is there a way to filter or limit the view in a thread to only see the posts made by a specific person, or the OP? For example: In the new thread created by WDW1974 - Spirited News, Observations & Thoughts IV I would like to see only the posts/comments made by the OP.

Nevermind, I figured it out. Just use the Search box in the upper right corner, specify the user's id and click the box for Search this thread only.
The results aren't pretty, but they're workable.

No, because the purpose of the site is to be a discussion forum, where you read the actual discussion taking place.

If you want to read only posts made by an individual member you can do so via their profile page and click 'Postings'.

You can also do a search within a specific thread.

I understand the "discussion" aspect, and usually enjoy it, but in a thread like the one I mentioned, it's near impossible to follow the discussion, unless you have the time to spend hours on end reading. And, not to sound like a whiny complainer (too late, I know), but shouldn't that Discussion fall under more of a General Discussion forum? I know it's a discretionary thing, but it just seems the mods are inconsistent in moving topics for some people.

Most of the discussion in that thread falls under 'WDW Parks News, Rumors and Current Events,' so at the moment I think it is in the right place.

There are only 3 of us doing the moderating in our spare time. If you have trouble keeping up with one specific thread, can you imagine the task that we have? We don't have time to play favorites- if we see it we deal with it.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to harp on the mods, I think you all do a great job at keeping things cleaned up.
I'm just a bit sore because it seems like I've had several posts moved, when I thought they fell clearly within the scope of News and Rumors, but, I'll get over it.

I just wanted to show you where we are coming from. To be completely honest- 99% of the time when I feel a topic is not in the right section, I don't even look to see who started the thread. There's no way we could possibly keep track- so its not at all personal. Its a judgement call, we may not always be right ( we are just mere mortals after all ) but we try to be as fair as possible.

Well two of us are mortal, we're not sure about @The Mom. She's pretty fantastic and we'd be lost without her!
