I'm a seasoned WDW AP but I am preparing for my first DL trip in 30 days! What are some films you watch to get pumped for an incoming Disney Parks trip?

The night before our trip we watch Song of the South. I know there is some controversy with the movie, but I just love hearing the Splash Mountain songs.

I don't watch films, strange, I know. I just get pumped to go by knowing that it is my stress relief coming up. If anything in my life calms me it is knowing I can go to my happy place!

We watch the planning DVD, even thought we know what's on it & are already all planned. It definitely makes us look forward to going! Last time we were staying at Port Orleans, so we watched Princess & the Frog before leaving. Little Mermaid & Beauty & the Beast both are big pre-trip films in our house too.

When my brother and I were kids we taped this special Walt Disney World: Past, Present and Future hosted by John Lithgow and watched it over and over so many time that 20+ years later my brother can still recite every single word of it verbatim

All the old Disney cartoon shorts, all the older Disney films that Walt oversaw, on line videos of my resort and room layouts that I will be staying at, Youtube videos of favorite rides I'm looking forward to going on, and the older Disney vacation planning DVDs. Just about fills the need to calm those anxious months waiting before leaving day arrives.

I actually listen to a WDW podcast at wdwtoday.com. Those guys have been doing the show for years and its great to listen to and get hyped with.

I listen to them regularly, but leading up to a trip, I'll stop listening and download a couple weeks' worth to my laptop/tablet. Gives me something to listen to on the plane, and when we have down time.

I watch the old planning DVD (the one with Erin, Dave and Luke) :)

Great movie, one of my favorites, don't get the controversy. Lots of movies with the same theme are still sold and popular. (Gone with the Wind for one, makes no sense if you ask me) Glad I finally found the dvd at a roadside stand so my kids could watch it!

YouTube! A simple 'Disney World [or Disneyland] Vacation' search provides hours of video trip reports!

Sounds odd... I know... but I can never get enough.

Bosox2001 (Youtube) has probably my favorite vacation videos. He totally captures everything a Disney Vacation 'is' and should be.

All 4 of his trip videos can be found here as well, since I usually watch on my mobile: http://vimeo.com/m/user13167797
