Filming of disney parade

We are at disney 1st December 2 weeks I heard that first weekend of December they film the parade and park if packed it's my daughters birthday and she'd be so upset if we couldn't go any one have any experiance of this?

Yes, my wife and I keep running into this since thats a nice low attendance time of year to visit. Its not much of a distraction as long as you keep away from the hub and main street. The values will be chocked full of cheerleaders and other parade participants. The parade elements and performances are shot over and over and over until they get something they find acceptable. The 3pm parade wont happen on the days they shoot.

This ^^ Never was affected by it because it's mostly on Main Street and even there they leave walkways behind the crowd to visit anything on Main st or walk by. The rest of the park was not crowded really any of the times we have been there during this time (our fave time to visit!) .
