They're all weird cut-down versions of the orginal trailers. Here's the list of them, directly from memory.

And what's sad is that I'm that I'm 100% right. I've been on GMR one too many times!

Footlight Parade
Casablanca
Singin' in the Rain
Fantasia
The Searchers
Mary Poppins
Raiders of the lost Ark
Alien

(I think that might be the order they're played too!)

And if you have to stand in the waiting line for a while, you will see them over and over and over and over.

I sort of wish they would add some so you don't see the same ones so much. They are good ones but more would be better.

Tks.

Oh you're right about them being heavily edited... when i first got the alien quadrilogy box set I set about trying to find the trailer that plays in the queue for GMR... I found that there's one like it but not the same... the same went for Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Searchers.

Mary Poppins isn't as edited, but Fantasia's is.

I guess they do it to cut down on potentially disturbing images for children but my neice couldn't get enough of the Alien trailer (she's 2) but my ex-girlfriend was scared to death by it (she was 19 at the time).

I believe Wizard of Oz and Tarzan may be in there as well but not certain.

On a side note, most of these movies are in the actual ride as well. That's one reason they are in the preshow. They want you to be familiar with them by the time you ride I guess.

The trailers are for the movies featured in the ride.

There is really no reason to cut them down. I mean how many times have I waited and went through the whole loop multiple times. The first time I love it but after that I get sick of it.

I seem to recall that if the ride is operating at full capacity (which it often isn't), then the wait in line through the theater is just long enough to see the whole loop about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 times. But perhaps my memories are more pleasant that realy life.

No, you're not mis-remembering. If the attraction is running at full capacity (and full loading/unloading efficiency), two trams in each dispatch grouping, you're in the queue for just slightly longer than the film loop.

nope not ture, Wizard of Oz is in the loop. I have it recorded and am watching it now :sohappy:

Sorry, but I KNOW that the trailer for Wizard of Oz isn't in the (current) Queue Film loop. It may have been at some point that I don't know about, but Wizard of Oz is only featured in the ride, and in the finale film.
