It looks as if JIYI will be shut down in less than two weeks. They are scheduled to close the attraction October 8th for it's long overdue rehauling. They believe that Figment will return sometime in the summer of 2002. :)

Well, from what Steve said about it, it sounds like they actually have a working plan in order for it now and that the new budget will exceed the originally estimated 5 million so that's a good sign. I think they know better than to try to stick us with crap again, too. Just "imagine" the complaints in guest relations if they screw it up a second time! ;)

I never liked any of the rides in that glass building. All the imagination rides(to me) were pretty boring. I wonder why no one complains about how bad that body building is to disney. I skip that building EVERY time I go.

Since Image Works (which was MUCH better before the remodel, IMHO) used to be upstairs, does anybody know what is up there now that everything is on the first level of the building?

Yeah I remember the image works. I liked that. Yeah when i went onto the new(now old) version of the imagination ride, I didnt spot it, but I saw the figment store. So why was everybody complaing about figment if he had his own store? I kind of liked the roller coaster thing for JII.

I dont want alot of RC's in WDW. ITs just I like how the JII coaster thing is.

as for wonders of life, I hate body wars, and most of the shows are pretty boring and old. It needs to get a rehab.

I'll have to agree with you on the boring and old shows... but Body Wars is still good, just needs an update. Although I'm not quite sure how they could update Wonders of Life... what else could they put in there with out making it still "old and boring"??

i've heard rumors that pretty much the entire original ride is stored in the upstairs part. i'm not sure if that's completely true or not.

you know, in a way i'm kinda hoping that the up-coming version will be a big flop as well, so then hopefully they'll completely redo the ride again and completely bring back to original. that would be a dream come true for me!!

as for the wonders of life pavilion, i really like that place!! it's so much fun to play with the optical illusions! although, they could put a few new ones in. and like you said, they could do some updating on it. but the pure and simple restuarant inside there has some of the most heavenly desserts!!! :goodnevil (all 'guilt free', of course!) i ate some kind of brownie sundae with strawberry topping there when i was there in June...ugh! it was to DIE for!!! :dazzle:
