Guys. How does that final scene work!!?!? Is there maybe a mesh screen kinda thing that will very quickly rise? Maybe that’s why the air is so loud?

THANKS!

The sets are just pulled up when Figment says “blast!” and you are hit with the air blast effect. The screen sets don’t even fully cover the scene of Figment. If you look you can see it beyond the screens sitting there in the dark.

You can watch the sets move to the floor and ceiling when you get hit by the air blast. The blast makes many close their eyes, but if you can keep them open you can see the wall with the screen in front if you drop below the floor and the ceiling raise up.

This video documents a bunch of ride stoppages on one ride through, but fast-forward to about 9:50 and you'll see that scene with all the video and lighting cues but the walls don't drop and the ceiling doesn't rise.

And this one the work lights are on and the first screen is already down.

Okay seriously thank you so much! I figured that’s what it was but it seems so fast I wasn’t sure if it was possible!

Rob, I just checked out the videos. I had been searching for something like these on YouTube prior to making this post! Thank you so much for sharing these! They’re so cool!
