The one in the space suit sure looks quite similar, aside from color of the suit, to the original.
Current at 35:44 , original (better) at 33:59

@marni1971 would certainly have more insight into whether or not they are the same animatronic.

I remember hearing that all of the figment animatronics in the ride are reused old ones, including the ones in the finale. The most obvious being the one holding the telephone, as he's a modified dreamobile figment. The other most obvious being spacesuit figment.

I could be wrong though, but I like to believe this.

Also the one in GOTG mission breakout MIGHT also be an old animatronic.
And some were sold

Isn't the one used in the loading dock scene (Let's turn it upside down!) from the originals' ending? The movement range looks exactly the same.

None of the originals are in the ride. They're all in storage although some are occasionally brought out for events. The spaceman figment is a replica, the original is in someone's private collection. As for the Dreamfinder no one knows what happened to his animatronics. The mayor in Phantom Manor is NOT a Dreamfinder animatronic, they simply share the same face mold. As for the ones that were sold on eBay in 2008, those were the Figment puppets from the various screens in the original finale. @marni1971 can tell you more

None of the original AAs from the Original 'Journey' were reused for the current version of the Attraction.
All were removed, and several are now in private collections.
A few are still in storage, still owned by Disney.

The figure shown in the photo above is not a AA, but a cable controlled puppet used for one of the filmed scenes that appeared in the Finale of the Original JII.
Many of these puppets were sold some years ago in a eBay auction, this being one of the photos from that sale posting.

In storage there's figment shoveling flowers animatronic plus there's a video I've seen with a figment animatronic and a figment puppet, logically the anamatronic if from the original, I'm yet to find it in the ride, if it is so.......

Likely wrong: The unanimated animatronic reminds me of the one from the flight if imaginstion scene, this is a largely uninvestigated claim, but they do remind me of each other.......
Or the Kodak shirt one is a 'one little spark of' replication......

If you're referring to the picture that you just posted, I'm pretty sure that the larger one is a prototype of the walk around puppet for the meet n greets. The claim is likely "largely uninvestigated" because nobody has claimed that.

In the source of the image - A video - It's refered to as a audio animatronic. The claim is mine, thank you very much. Aswell, do you think the figure looks like a puppet or a prototype puppet 🤷🏻‍♂️???¿¿¿???¿¿¿???¿¿¿

It was from this video.....

The performer of Figment for this video was done by the late Muppet performer Jerry Nelson who sounds like Robin or Gobo Fraggle in the video..
