I made it! I can't believe I'm at single digits! 9 very long days to go, but with so much stuff to do around the garden and house before I leave, I hope it passes quickly! Last weekend turned really crazy, Frost warning and taking my ds to grandma's for one last visit before we go. So I never made it to AAA for our Kennedy tickets:eek:, I'm going Friday if it kills me. LOL I've got the boys clothes for the ride down laid out, so except for getting the tickets for KSC I'm ahead of schedule.

While I have a minute I'll tell you how my ds and I plotted to get this trip underway. Back last August we were all felling the I miss Disney flu. You know that sick feeling when you've been away too long. It had been a little over a year since our last trip and my dh got a new car with great gas mileage, so the plan started to hatch at the dealership when we were looking at cars and I made the salesman open the trunk and said you know I could fit all our luggage for a Disney trip In there!:) Step one get it in his mind we needed to go again. Well steps 2 -4 weren't as pleasant:mad: The first day of school for James was his first at the Intermediate school was not fun to say the least he was in a class with nobody he knew from the other school (he came home really sad):(. Day 2 was worse he started making friends but on the bus home a high school brat was put on his bus because he missed his bus. Well that child for lack of a better word threatened all the kids on the bus it was so bad a few of us parents reported his actions to the police that night. Day 3 was spent with the school administrators to make sure it never happened again and they also filed charges. Day 4 he was finally having a really good day until recess at the climbing wall he fell off and broke his ulna and radius. Needless to say the rest of the day was spent at the hospital:eek:. It was a very long day and night as he had to be sedated just to get x-rays and then he had to wait for the surgeon to set his arm. While we were waiting for the surgeon all James kept asking for was his home work and a trip to Disney. How could we say no? We didn't get home until midnight that night. Well the next morning he tried to get on the bus for school (no I didn't let him). And when we got to the school to pick up his work and jacket he snuck into class and tried to stay there. I'm really proud of how he handled the situation, and getting your cast signed is a great way to make new friends. Not the one I would choose for him btw. He made sure we scheduled all his doctor's appointments so he wouldn't miss any classes So Saturday morning the trip was booked. He only missed one other day all year and I just found out he has high honors for the entire year. His school year started off in the worst way of all, but is ending on the best way with all of us going to our favorite place on earth!

Now don't forget.....when you are on the Great Movie Ride and you get to the Wizard of Oz part, try NOT to think of @mrdisman when you see Dorothy. What a buzz kill that would be....LOL! ;)

Here it is Saturday morning! I can't believe I'm down to 6 days! James is adorable yesterday when I woke him up he said one more week before his eyes were even open. I got so much done yesterday oil change for the car, picked up our Kennedy tickets and new eye shadow! We're cleaning out the fridge so it's nice and empty when we get home! The house is clean that should last until 11am this morning! I've also stopped doing plyo in the morning as I'm not going to risk an injury. I'm almost ready to walk out the door and go just a little while longer. But the car needs a bath and the lawn needs mowing and I'm trying to be patient until Friday! xoxo

I'm happy to report I haven't had a nervous breakdown YET! 5 days to go! I'm trying to hold it together but..........! At least the car is ready to go nice and clean (that should last to Virginia between bug splatter and the boys crumbs), new oil and tires, air filter and checked tip to tail! Everything is in the garden and the lawn is mowed! I'm going to send Michael out Wednesday to re-do the lawn, weather it needs it or not!

The last week is always a hard week. I am 103 days out and getting very excited to get to double digits. By the last month I can barely contain myself and by day 7 I'm done, they laugh at me at work because I am just so excited and bubbly and hyper. This week will fly by and before you know it you will be in the car. Have fun and enjoy. Looking forward to your trip report when you get back.
