New Disney Parks promo for the parade
hi everyone
I found this video of the friendship rocks show on disney cruise line and I was told to post this question in here to see if any of you guys could identify the song at the 2:53 mark of the video??
thanks!
Actually, the fire is synced with musical cues in the soundtrack. Watch and listen closely and you'll find 5 times when the dragon breathes fire at an exact moment. But I do agree, the parade is exceptional and a sheer joy to watch.I think that this parade is exceptional. I have seen it 3 times during 3 separate trips this year.
Also experienced one of those 'wow' Disney moments during the last viewing of the parade. We happened to end up in the town square section of MSUSA during this parade. The place was absolutely packed (as it was each time that we watched the parade on this trip) and we stood in the center doing a 360 as we were surrounded by 3 floats. It was incredible watching each float and the interaction of the crowd with the CMs in this parade. Also, the dragon really breathes fire a lot in that part of the parade route, probably due to the open area and severe lack of trees - sorry all of you Disney tree fans out there!
I had complete faith one of you entertainment experts would know and help the new member. I had heard the tune on DCL myself but am far from an expert in the music world. Thanks for the help to the new folk.So this has nothing to do with Festival of Fantasy, but through the power of Shazam, it's "Throw Yor Hands Up" by Jump5
ETA: Though I see @wogwog suggested you post it in this thread.

I don't think she breathes fire in Frontierland though due to the trees.
there is a tech that walks with the dragon thats has to push a button every time it fires. if for some reason they see it unfit to fire (wind, trees, preformers to close) they will not push the button and it will not fire. She does. It's synced with the music through the whole route.
Sooner or later, this will happen. Just like Soundsational, we will just have to wait.Any update to the old rumor of MSEP leaving and FOF doing evening performances? Sure would be better than MSEP! Until a new light parade can be built.
Are we sure of this or is it just hopeful thinking? The floats don't look like they have any onboard lighting built in aside from the strobes really.Sooner or later, this will happen. Just like Soundsational, we will just have to wait.
I am not sure, but Spirit told me it's possible. Are we sure of this or is it just hopeful thinking? The floats don't look like they have any onboard lighting built in aside from the strobes really.
Also hate to be the bearer of bad news but just came back from seeing the parade this past Monday and Saturday and the Raven wings are missing again. Everything else was in great shape though.

I was actually thinking the same thing. The strobes on the floats would look amazing if they did a performance around dusk, right after sunset, then have MSEP later in the evening before Wishes. Or maybe a new nighttime parade, maybe a new SpectroMagic perhaps to make up for trashing a fan favorite. But I digress...I don't see how that would be better. Only one parade, but being used twice a day?
Now, if you are arguing for FOF to be twice (once in the daytime and once in the evening) in addition to a MSEP evening show, that I would support.

If you're up on front of the curb or rope you're more likely to receive attention from the performers but whether they come up or not varies on where they are in their choreography at that point along the route. So it's really hit or miss, not something you can depend on.Hey Everyone, I'm very exited to see the Festival of Fantasy Parade in December. I have a quick question for you guys. I was wondering where is a good spot on the parade route where the characters/performers come and give you high fives. I'm also thinking about using one of my FP+ selections to book the parade viewing spot. Do you guys think I should do that or saved my FP+ for something else?
WHAT?Didn't even saw it once on my 12 day trip there
