Feedback on MK "schedule" and how EMHs might effect it

So I had our potential schedule/outline ready to go and then realized that there will be EMHs on our 1st day in MK and now I feel like maybe it would make sense to revamp. Or just stick to what I had and do some EMH stuff beforehand???

This is our 1st trip and I realize that we will not do nearly all of this, but I also don't want to be running back and forth and making even more walking/work/wait time than needed. Would someone more experienced mind taking a look and offering feedback?

Thanks a TON!

Original plan
Try to do Big Thunder/Splash Mountain first (or skip bc we have FPs for this on day 2 in MK?)
Back down to Jungle Cruise/Magic Carpets
Haunted Mansion
snack
Liberty Square Riverboat/Tom Sawyer's Island (skip if low on time/break not needed)
It’s a small World
Peter Pan FP 12:20-1:20
Lunch
Mickey's Philharmagic/Prince Charming Carousel (1 or both time/interest permitting)
7 Dwarf Mine Train FP 2:20-3:30
REST in room or swim for a bit
Dinner on our way back to park or once we get back in
Ride railroad when we come back early evening & get off near Barnstormer/Pete's Silly Side Show (hopefully we will have gotten FPs for some of this)
Barnstormer
Dumbo
Mad Tea Party
Winnie the Pooh
(circle around past BOG, maybe stop at Gaston's Tavern)
Under the Sea/Little Mermaid
Main St. Electrical Parade FP 8:30

REVISED
Maybe start with Barnstormer, Little Mermaid, Dumbo or something over that way and scratch starting with Big Thunder/Splash since we have FPs for them on day 2?
Maybe try to do the following:
Barnstormer, Dumbo, Mad Tea Party, Winnie the Pooh, Under the Sea/Little Mermaid (or another suggested order over there) then head to Haunted Mansion and resume our day one schedule (riverboat/tom sawyer maybe then Small World and on to our FPs)?

Not sure where I would fit in Jungle Cruise/Magic Carpets in this case - maybe when we come back in the evening? And if so, should i try to get FPs for these once we use our others earlier in the day?

Or if it were you, would you just head to do a few things during EMHs (open to suggestions) and then still stick to this plan about (heading straight to Frontierland when that area of the park opens at 9am)?

Here is tentative day 2 in MK if that makes any difference:
Space Mountain for biggest boy & hubs/Speedway for Me & littles
Astro Orbiter
People mover
Stitch's Great Escape
Monster Inc Laugh Floor
Lunch? or snack in here somewhere with late lunch
Buzz FP 12:10
Big Thunder FP 1:10 (really 2nd guessing this FP as littlest guy is too short to ride)
Splash Mountain FP 2:15 (again, same as above :/ )
REST or swim
evening: do whatever FP's we can secure after using ours earlier in the day (or whatever the boys loved and want to try to do again) and maybe fit in Tikki room/Swiss Family Treehouse/Country Bear jamboree type stuff
BOG Dinner at 8:40
Celebrate the Magic? Wishes?
Late night EMH (which I doubt we stay for)

Thanks again so so much for any insight!!!!

I love looking at other people's touring plans! This is pretty much what I live for. First some questions.

Who does your party consist of?
Are you arriving that day from a long flight or driving in? How rested will your party be?
Are you staying onsite?
Will you have just the two days in MK?

Oh yay! So glad to have your help!

2 adults and 3 crazy (and tall) boys 3, 4 & 7. We get in the afternoon prior (short, direct flight) and are going to chill, swim, dinner, maybe Chip N Dale campfire... We will be well-rested (I hope) and my boys are EARLYbirds (no matter how late they stay up)! Staying at the Contemporary. MK on Thurs, rest/swim day on Fri (including Cape May Bfast, ride the monorail/resort hop maybe?, swim, arcade?, DTD incl T Rex for dinner), watch EWP & Fireworks. MK again on Sat (plan included above). Sunday am is Chef Mickey before we depart for the beach/work conference.

FYI - we plan to return for a longer visit that includes more parks - so just MK this time!

Just a quick comment about your first day ~ You said you have Main Street Electrical Parade FP at 8:30 pm. Since you must use ALL 3 of your original FP picks before you can get another one, you will not be able to get a FP for anything between your 7DMT (2:30-3:30) FP and MSEP (8:30) FP. If the park is open late, you may be able to get another FP for something (at a kiosk) when MSEP is over.

Day 1 should start with Fantasyland for sure. As soon as you get there, Dumbo, Pooh, ISAW and anything else you don't have a FPP for. I would try to move the PP and 7DMT FPP to a little earlier in the day. Knock out FL, HM, Jungle Cruise, Magic Carpets before lunch.

LM, Barnstormer and Mad Tea Party will have shorter lines later in the day, so you can do those after your break if you haven't done them first thing.

I like to split MK days by land. Since you already have FPP, I would do Fantasyland, Adventureland, Liberty Square day 1 and Frontierland, Tomorrowland Day 2.

What about revising like this?

Can I get all this done in time for our FP+s if I move PP a little later (EMH day) or do I need to move some to afternoon?

Winnie the Pooh
Dumbo
Barnstormer
Under the Sea/Little Mermaid
Maybe snack at Gaston's Tavern?
It’s a small World
Haunted Mansion
Liberty Square Riverboat/Tom Sawyer's Island
Lunch - Columbia HH? Liberty Tree?

1:15-2:15 Peter Pan FP
2:20-3:30 7 Dwarf Mine Train FP
