FedEx is still lurking in Space Mountain

If you notice that large sign when you first walk in, the one with all the words and stuff which I guess is cities and planets but I never really have looked at it, there is the mention of FX-1 something, written in FedEx colors. There is another sign which say FX-1 with the same colors. Do you think they'll change it, or it's no big deal?

They'll only change actual Fed-Ex logos and advertisements... If it's still there (FX-1 theming), it'll probably stay there...

FX-1 Writing

I think that Disney will PROBABLY leave the lettering there because it is such a minor detail and really, people with good eyes catch this sort of stuff. Either them or the people who have lost count of how many times they have been on the ride... =) It doesn't really seem to advertise for FedEx anyway!!

On the DVD they sell at the parks, they use old footage of Space Mountain. In it, a voice announces that the shuttle is departing for "RYCA-1". That, of course, is a reference to Space Mountain's previous sponsor RCA, and the postshow that once advertised RCA products (ever notice how they still use the RCA dog in the current SM postshow)

Just went on Disneyland California's website, and they still list Federal Express as the sponsor. On the WDW website, it does not list FedEx as the sponsor, but in the picture shown, which is the front of Space Mountain, you can see the presented by FedEx sign still under the main sign. Does this mean they still sponsor Disneyland's SM? I know it's closed until 2005 but they could at least change the listing on the site if FedEx isn't sponsoring.
