The beginning of your trip should be pretty mild crowd wise, but crowds will more than likely increase as your trip wears on. Value season ends on 2/12 and peak begins on 2/14.

I've been twice: 2007 & 2009, and currently have a trip planned for Feb. 7-15th. Those past trips, I remember the weather being a bit unpredictable (from possible shorts & t-shirts to bundle-up-winter-gear). I suggest, pack and wear layers. I don't remember the crowds being too bad, then again, I toured at the beginning of the month. However, with the new FP+ system steam-rolling out, I cannot even imagine how touring the parks will be like now.

Oh, on the plus side, you'll be there over Valentine's Day! I am working on a little project with my daughters: we're making over 100 handmade V-day cards and pairing them with 1 dark-chocolate Hershey Kiss, which we will give out to their favorite characters and exceptional CM's. I don't normally recognize V-day at home, but this should be a fun experience!

Have a magical vacation!

We're booked to go from 2/8-2/15 at FQ. We've been once before in 2007 in February. Definitely bring a warm jacket for the nights, especially for Fantasmic and Illuminations. The days are very nice but it gets cold at night when you are not dressed for it.

Every other year we go in February and love the comfy days and cool evenings. We arrive January 31st and depart February 15th. We pack for both warm and cold days (shorts, tees and jeans and sweatshirts). 106 days til we go.

We will be there 2/3-2/14 at POFQ.

Feb is my favorite time to go, as long as you can avoid President's day. We have found, the weeks leading up to Pres. Day to be very mellow and nice. Not a crowded and most of the lines were not longer than 15-20 minutes max (TSMM is always crazy). The times we have been, the weather has been nice. I needed a sweatshirt at night and in the morning, but during the day it was in the 70's.

Valentines Day is nice, as (in EPCOT at least), all the Princes are out with their Princess. I adore Phillip, so his is a must meet for me each time.

It can be cold in January and February, even during the day. Make sure to pack layers and bring a coat.

It's one thing to go from the car to the store when it is 43 degrees out, but it's quite another to be out in it for extended periods of time. One day last year, half the AK was walking around bundled up in blankets, lol.

But it can also be warm. :) So head to predict. Layers, layers, layers!
