February crowd question

We usually go down the week spanning Jan to Feb. At what point is the turning poing in February when the crowds get bad? My mother might join us on our next trip but she is usually busy with work when we go so we might push it back into February but wanted to avoid heavy crowds.

Thanks,
Mike

We were there the week prior to President's Day and saw a definite increase in crowds the closer to the holiday weekend it got. If you are going the first week of the month you should be fine.

What I have found is that the Disney "seasons" (which you can see at MouseSavers) are often a good indicator of crowd size as well. If it's value season for WDW it's probably because fewer people will be there.

Stay away from WDW from Presidents Day throughout that week. Thats when our school vacations are and to beat the cold everyone goes to Orlando it seems. We went last week of January/first week of February and there were NO crowds.
