James, one question: That area in which several of your first pictures are taken, (all the restaurants) is that inside one of the parks or in a DtD like setting? Just wondering...and blatantly showing that I have never been to uni.:lookaroun

 That's in CityWalk, which is like Downtown Disney (but better :lookaroun :p ). You have to walk through this area to get to Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure. Since you're not familiar with Universal, I'd say it's similar to Downtown Disney at Disneyland (where you have to walk through it to get to the parks).

I heard the building next to Nascar Cafe is supposed to be a Element skate shop.

Man it was busy! Nice update James.
Ya know... that makes since. There was a random Element sign on the side before they painted it.

I was there on Saturday as well...the place was PACKED and the Mardi Gras floats had the masses cheering and hollaring for beads. I was really impressed. I didn't think people would get anywhere near as into it as they did. The concert was great and the sound quality was just incredible...well done Universal.

Jaws was great...it's been a very long time since I last rode it, but everything looked very well maintained and all the effects were working.

Universal is impressing me more and more these days.

We were also there Saturday and it was JAMMED!!!! We did enjoy the Daddy Mac Blues Band without much of a crowd at all. They were great and played a 45 minute set!

Oh, so that's the name of the band that played on the Plaza Stage last Saturday evening.

I enjoyed that blues band as well; hope they return to the City Walk Plaza Stage for another gig.
