Well Its that time of year again! I spoke at length tonight with a CM at MK and he told me that they were told MK tickets will be breaking
$100 by Feb 24th. He said they exact numbers had not been decided yet but the increase is coming! He also said the other parks are expected to increase $1 with annul passes increasing 2-3%. This Is just a rumor from a CM but we all knew its coming.

Not to sound skeptical - but that stuff stays pretty confidential until the last minute. So unless you were talking to an executive, I can't put much stock in it.

Exactly I used to work in Disney Reservations and we sold tickets and that information was released to us the day of. There's no way he knew for sure probably speculation because this is that time of year.

All of the other rumors are stating a mid-Feb to late Feb increase date.

Most of the speculation is because we haven't had an increase in ticket prices for a while now. Based on the past schedules it seems overdue. Granted I'm not going to complain if they break from tradition.

They might be right but one person reads a single rumor on this site, then states it on another site stating they heard it on other sites. It tends to be a cycle.

But hey, maybe the person is right.
Some of the info is very detailed though, like elimination of no-expiration option etc. Google it or find the other thread.

Not even that. Disney usually does a ticket price increase annually. The last increase was February 2014. In other news, I predict green shamrocks will start popping up in about 3 weeks.

From :
"According to sources, a 1-day Magic Kingdom base ticket will be priced at $105.00 (plus tax), while a ticket for Hollywood Studios, Epcot, or Animal Kingdom will be $99.00 (plus tax). All other ticket prices will be raised similarly, probably by the same increments as the last price change seen at the Disney Parks."

Hey members so just wanted to tell you all that any day now a 1-day Magic Kingdom base ticket will be priced at $105.00 (plus tax), while a ticket for Hollywood Studios, Epcot, or Animal Kingdom will be $99.00 (plus tax). All other ticket prices will be raised similarly, probably by the same increments as the last price change seen at the Disney Parks. The rumor on them adding water park-hopper ticket being added or the no-expiration option being removed still isn't confirmed but we assume we will hear something once the ticket prices change.

The Disneyland Resort is expected to receive similar ticket price increases this month as well.

So don't get caught off guard. Make sure to get your tickets because it could happen tonight at midnight

Hey Gang, in the past I would usually buy my hoppers on site. I have a cruise coming up and we planned on going to MK for a day at the end. The trip is not for a few months. Can I buy my ticket now and use it later? Also, would that be considered no expiration as I haven't used it for the first time. As I said, I am pretty good with ticket media, this is just a first time for me in that regard. TIA

It expires 14 days "after first use" - so it must be used first to get the clock ticking towards expiration.

The No Expiration option allowed a ticket to go past the 14 day limit.

Gotcha, so I can buy it now and it wont expire being as it hasn't been activated. Would I have to pay the difference or no?

Even if it did go up it wouldn't surprise me at all. But I don't get it. They have had record profits yet they still feel the need to squeeze another buck out of us. Oh well. What can you do.....we're all suckers for the "Mouse".

No, not unless you wanted to change the ticket in someway, i.e. you bought a 2 day ticket now at today's price and then once you got there you decided to make it a 5 day ticket, they may adjust it with the difference with the new pricing...
