In regards to the whole 'no texting' thing, I'd definitely encourage that. I'm a Disney obsessive teenager, and our latest trip was one that came about after me veto-ing every other holiday suggestion for years. However, I did find myself texting quite a bit, much to the annoyance of my parents at times. I'd just ensure that they know there's a no texting rule well in advance, so as to avoid any bouts of moodiness!
