favorite WDW store

I love World of Disney I can spend hours in there, most of my time ends up talking to Cast Members when I walk in the door. Its nice to just chat and relax sometimes. Also the fact that in World of Disney sometimes things are on sale AND you can use your AP and AAA Cards there! YAY!

MouseGear, because it's got everything.

Seashore Sweets at the Boardwalk, because it's where I get my delicious WDW taffy.

And The Athletic Club on Main Street/The Writer's Shop at MGM for nostalgic purposes.

I honestly HATE World of Disney. It's so loud and obnoixious and crowded, and I always get lost in it.

My favorite is probably also Mouse Gear - it has a huge selection but without being overwhelming... also it has a cool theme.

When we shop at DTD, we always have a meeting place/time at the World of Disney plus we all have our cell phones. It it so easy to get separated/lost/overwhelmned in that store, gotta love it. My fav store is The Art of Disney store at DTD.

We love to browse all the shops, but end up spending most of our money at Disneyshopping.com. We love the custom-made T-shirts. At the parks, our favorite places to spend money are the stores that sell Christmas items.

For practical shopping purposes, it would have to be Mouse Gears (plus the Dreamcatcher!).

For pure joy, The Art of Disney store in DtD. If I ever win the lottery, I'll be on the next flight to MCO...

The Art of Disney is my favorite store. They have some pretty cool stuff. The paintings will take your breath away. I wish I could afford them all. :king:

I, like many of you, love Mouse Gear, World of Disney, and the Emporium.

However, I also love a few other stores that haven't been mentioned. I totally love the stores at the various resorts. When I'm staying on property, I spend at least a half hour per day in those stores just walking around (i.e. Panchito's at Coronado Springs and the one at DAK Lodge).

I also love the art store at MGM that is the entrance to Magic of Disney Animation. I love walking through and looking at the concept art, sculptures, and being surprised at the very highly priced pieces of art.

Tatooine Traders at the exit of Star Tours is pretty cool. I'm a Star Wars junkie (not as big as Disney World, of course.. ;-) ), but it is still cool walking through there. Maybe part of it is the adrenaline wearing off after riding Star Tours too...

Finally, the only other one that really comes to mind is the store that is at the exit to Pirates. I love the theming and just walking through it.

Oh man, so many awesome stores. How to choose?

Lets see, I'm definitely one of those fanatics you see just drooling over everything in Art of Disney. Can't buy any of it but love to look at all of it and wish I could get some.

I think my overall favorite is a tie between WoD at DTD and Merchant of Venus in Tomorrowland. I can spend hours and hours in WoD looking at all the stuff. Unfortunately I always have to go with a trusted friend that will stop me from emptying the bank account. And Merchant of Venus, well... Look at my Screen Name and Avatar and you'll figure out why I like shopping there so much LOL

Well, let's see, at the Magic Kingdom, I'm probably going to go with the Emporium, I suppose.
At Epcot, M:S is pretty cool, I'm also fond of Puffin's Roost in Norway, the store next to the American Adventure (looking for Voices of Liberty CDs,) and the shops in the UK.
At Disney MGM, Tattoine (sp?) Traders, and the shop at the end of the Backlot Tour to check out latest move/tv stuff.
At Animal Kingdom, shops near KS are interesting.

But the failsafe is, as for many, World of Disney at DTD.
