Went for the first time when I was 8 years old. I'm now a lot older than that. Have a 6-year-old of my own. My favorite memories are everything! Just the entire experience. I can really only pin down one experience that sits in my mind: The characters I met in the park. I don't recall any food (sorry for you foodies lol). I do still have my MM ears though from that very first trip when I was 8

Kinda what Disney should bring out in people. If it doesn't make you happy and you don't enjoy it, then why bother?
