- Crown and Crest (the shop with the staircase and full suits of armor in the UK pavilion)
- Chester and Hester's. No store will ever match it in the amount of things to see.
- Briar Patch. It was so cozy in there.
- I'll say Oscar's (that includes the little "Information center") and Sid Caheunga's are tied there.

I would have picked Chester and Hester’s but it’s closed and how would I get the to the crown and crest? I just thought they had the toy soldier the tea shop and the sportsman’s shop .

Actually a very good question. For me it depends. I'm usually hunting for something. Depending on what that object (s) is/are it focuses me on which stores I'm going to visit. If it's cologne, or a Tommy Bahama shirt, or something from a new (or rebooted IP), new shades, etc..

But I guess if I had to answer it would be:

MK - Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar
EPCOT - The Germany Pavilion (It's like one big connected store)
DHS - Tower Hotel Gifts
AK - Island Mercantile

Villains in vogue? What’s that? Ps. Love your avatar
Probably the the greatest store Studios ever had (completely villains focused merchandise), rivaled by only the original Sid Cahuenga's.

Thanks. It was a store near the corner of Hollywood and Sunset Blvds. It specialized in villain merchandise...clothing, artwork, Souvenirs, etc...
I wish that was still there especially since they have the villains show debuting in a couple months side note what about sweet spells wasn’t that there before the Pixar store? Cause when I look it up online I get pictures of the Pixar store. I assume it was in that spot.

We always come home with a huge number of souvineers to add to my Disney room and various rooms in our home.
Favs are....
MK .... Crystal Arts. Love the glass works and always hang around for a time watching the glass blowers craft their wares. We have lots of monogrammed glasses.
DHS... Tatooine Traders. SW items
AK ... Island Mercantile. Variety of items
EP... Mitsukoshi in Japan. Always things of interest there and I always purchase bottles of Saki.

I don't know I'd say best theming, but one of the best overall gift shops in WDW is Mitukoshi.

The very best themed gift shop(s), IMO, are the pop-up tribute gift shops at Universal. If you have not been before, Universal does pop-up gift shops that only last a few months. They are part gift shop, and often part walk-through attraction. They had one themed to Jurassic Park that was really fun. It had some merch, but also photo-ops with dinosaurs. They currently have a great gift shop themed to Wicked that has costumes from the movie. It is worth walking through just to the shop, costumes, and movie props.

I don't usually buy stuff, but for theming: UK shops have nice theming, in AK the Pandora gift shop has good theming. I haven't been there in some time, but the gift shop at Animal Kingdom Lodge used to have great themed merchandise. The last time I visited it was more generic though. The Winnie the Pooh and Memento Mori gift shops are well-themed. Take a moment to check out the wall decor in MM, some of the images shift/change. There aren't any shops I really love right now in HS, but prob the Star Wars ones are among the best themed. The one at the end of ToT used to have some fun theming, but last time I visited the merchandise was fairly generic. The GoG one is fairly well-themed.

Right now is the Art Festival at Epcot, a lot of unique art and merchandise for the festival.

Overall, I gotta say the merchandise over at Universal has considerably improved in the last few years. They have many well-themed gift shops. One of the best is Olivander's. Other fun ones are the Minions, almost any other Harry Potter one (Honeyduke's, Weasley's, the rope shop with the talking mirror), and the Marvel ones come to mind. I had a chance to visit the new Stella Nova hotel, and they have a few items for Epic that - I think- are unique. They have more/wider selection of Epic merchandise at the preview Center in Citywalk than at Stella nova, but I think several SN items are unique to that shop. I got a really fun spirit jersey style shirt themed to Dark Universe there.

Yes I am a pass holder at universal as well and I have been in the tribute stores Jurassic Park was the best I’ve been in but there was a horror nights comic themed one I didn’t go in that looked really cool I think it had a reference to the great movie ride even! And yes the festival of the arts booths are really cool this year they have these wooden maps of different attractions that look amazing I even have a print of the haunted mansion with me and my brothers names on it from the artist in Norway.

Yeah, Universal merch used to mostly pale WDW's offerings, but Universal now appears to be doing more of what WDW used to do, and having more interesting and unique merchandise.

The Jimmy Fallon gift shop currently has merchandise themed to the recent SNL movie about the early days of SNL. I don't know I'd call it the best gift shop anywhere, but it was neat to see.

We also had a great conversation with our waitperson at Confisco. It was cold/rainy and a bit slow inside, so she had time to talk a little. She was really nice, and our food was very good, btw. I mention it though because she shared with us that Universal (somewhat recently) moved a number of movie/park props to that restaurant, and she got to telling us about them. It isn't a gift shop, but the props are kinda interesting.

I don’t know for me with merchandise it’s well I might not like it but I’m sure someone does personally I like to collect the deluxe figure sets.

MK: Emporium OR Tomorrowland Light and Power Co. - I'm a sucker for TRON items.
EPCOT: Mitsukoshi OR The Fjording - Not a frozen fan, but that shop is VERY nostalgic to me. Love it
DHS: Tower Hotel Gifts - Great theming, and they have a pretty neat selection at times. I'm very fond of the little Hollywood Tower front desk bell I found there a few years back.
AK: Windtraders - Very cozy in there IMO.
