Favorite snacks and random things in HS

So I'm finally familiarizing myself with HS since we have a day there this fall. We've never been and I didn't realize all the different little food spots, stores, etc they had (or at least it looks like it has in the MDE app). So any places y'all would recommend as far as must have snacks we may not find elsewhere or stores that have the best HS souvenirs...ya know...the things that you discover by going there, trying new stuff and exploring!!

They are delicious! When I was young my mother would make them and we would freeze them which we thought made them better but they are awesome either way.

I like the Whoopie Pies at Sweet Spells. The Red Velvet, Maple Bacon, and Cookies and Cream ones are all good.

I thought Sweet Spells was closing? Or is that just a rumour at this stage?

We have eaten at 50's diner and the Sci-Fi. I enjoyed the Sci-Fi the most. We were there with 5 of us. OUr kids were the drivers and we were the hitch hikers. I wasn't sure my son would enjoy the food as he is picky but he had pasta and loved it. OUr steaks were a little great and the dessert are excellent. We are trying the Hollywood Brown Derby with the Fantasmic package in September. This is my husbands idea and hope it goes well.

I hope not...anything remotely spooky always has my attention so I was hoping to make it in there.

Yeah, I just saw a post about it closing on April 14 or 15. I hope the whoopie pies end up somewhere else.
