You barely listed any roller coasters, but it doesn't matter, Millennium Force is mine. I'm a coaster enthusiast, and I've been on about 70 roller coasters, and Millennium Force beats them all. That ride is truly amazing, and almost everyone who has been on it agrees that it is one of the best coasters ever made, if not THE best. It is ranked the number 1 steel coaster right now, btw. Nothing beats a 300 foot drop with 93 MPH speeds and an awesome view of Lake Eerie.

Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is one hell of a cool ride and one of my top ten coasters, but it lacks intensity after the halfway point.

Best Coaster...

well, I don't like having to dump them all into one group... but

i picked Millennium Force as well. I rode it in the first couple of weeks it was open and when I returned home my mom told me they had a local news report about them clocking it at over 100 and having to up the trim brakes... the day after we were there!!!!

Rock n' Roller coaster is probably my favorite sit-down looping coaster.

The Beast (original) when ridden at night is by far and away the best wooden rollercoaster in existence.

But, that's just my opinion...

I haven't riden any of those.:(
Although, I'll get to ride RnR in little over two weeks. My favorite use to be the Georgia Cyclone at the Six Flags over Georgia. Another fave was the Hurler at Carowinds in Charlotte, NC.

Superman: Ride of Steel up here at SFNE is the best I've ridden. Haven't made it to Cedar Point yet. Montu is pretty good, rode it when it first opened. RnR is in a league of it's own.

I can tell from what I've seen on the Discovery channel that Millenium Force and Goliath are great coasters.

JFYI, Millennium Force doesn't have any trim brakes on it, except at the very end. It also never went 100 mph. Originally they clocked it at 92 MPH, but later found out that it was 93 MPH, not much of a difference, though.

tom morrow,

thanx 4 the info tom,

i always kind of wondered about that because i never saw any myself (although its kind of hard to when you are going that fast) - maybe my mom was just exaggerating - she has a way of doing that.

at least now i can stop telling that story.....

Without a doubt, M-Force is the most intense coaster ride anywhere. The ride in the front seat is unbelievable.

I'm a coaster nut as well, ACE member, etc, etc. Been on a bunch of them and The Force is number one.

BEHOLD!!! Millennium Force's first hill:

This picture doesn't even do justice of how massive the hill is.

Its insane...when I first rode it..I almost peed my pants. You are SOOO high up..and then you almost go into vertical decent..its only like 10 degrees short of directly down....fast as hell...

It is actually much more intimidating when you see it in person. It is still the voted best coaster to date...but the never ending competition to built the "Best and fastest" coaster is ongoing....it is only a matter of time before a new king steps up the plate (probobly sooner than you think)...It's a shame Disney will never make the list (yeah...they make nice rides/coasters...but they are either too short..or not good enough to make the list)

Whoa!! If I want to commit suicide, I'll take a spin! I don't think the old "ticker" would survive it!!! (I'm acrophobic...I can ride a coaster unless there is a big drop...I'm fine on SM, BTM, etc. Can't go on ToT, or any of the IOA coasters.)

I had to go with Raptor. Not that i didn't like MF its just that, well, I liked the Raptor better. I also lloooooooooovvvvvvvveeeeee RNR. it is so well themed and creative, I also really like Aerosmith, but the coaster is just to short.

Believe it or not, Millennium Force has already been topped.. but only by 8 feet ant 2 MPH. The ride is Steel Dragon 2000 at Nagashima Spa Land in Japan. Its not as unique as Millennium Force though. If you've ridden Magnum (an out-and-back hypercoaster), then picture something similar with 114 feet on top.
