I think RnRC is a bit overrated by Disney fans... it's not that great. My favorite at WDW is Space Mountain, in Florida it's Kumba, and overall it's The Beast.

I agree. I think a lot of members on here need to visit some other parks besides Disney if they loved RnRc so much. RnRcs good but there are better coasters out there.

I like the Millenium Force, Wicked Twister and Rock 'n' Roller Coaster best. A bunch of other coasters at Cedar Point and Florida and Busch Gardens all are very close.

Disney coasters are the best coasters anywhere. Now before I get told that I am a biased Disney fan, let me tell you that the reason I like them is the same reason everyone else thinks they are boring. I don't like coasters where you whiz by everything so fast you can't tell whether you're coming or going. Not to mention the theming, which does matter. Even if the other coasters slowed down a bit so your head stopped bobbing back and forth, there's nothing to look at, for example, my favorite non-disney coaster, Super Man Ride of Steel at Six Flags Darien Lake. It's a fun coaster, but the extent of the theming is blue and red paint on the tracks. And as for the surroundings, you can see the country road nearby, the parking lot, and a muddy pond, not that you can see the scenery very well at brake neck speed.

I don't think RnRC is overrated. It just comes down to appreciating that it exercises moderation. Personally, my favorite roller coaster is Space Mountain. It may not be the most exciting, and it may not be the most high tech, but I've never left that ride disappointed.

The thing is, a ride like Superman: Ride of Steel is thrilling enough that theming isn't really needed. Plus, its kind of hard to theme something thats over 200 feet tall. Theming is an added bonus on most coasters, but with most of Disney's coasters, they would be very boring without the theming.

At WDW, my fave is BTMRR, my fave in all of Orlando is Dueling Dragons Ice, and my fave anywhere is Ghostrider at Knott's Berry Farm, and then The Texas Giant at Six Flags Over Texas, but I'm partial to Woodies.

Cheers

I have been to King's Island and Great America (Back when it was Marriotts) Now you know I'm getting old:lol: but my favorite coaster is still Space Mountain.
I liked the Demon, the Beast and the Screaming Eagle back 15 years ago, but I tend to prefer less scary stuff now.

This is an easy one for me: I am really scared of rollercoasters and have only been brave enough to ride RnRC, and I love it!

I´m not sure if Space Mountain counts as a rollercoaster though, but I´ve done it and it was ok... too bumpy more than anything and in an uncomfortable seat!

Space Mountain definately counts as a coaster! It rolls... it coasts... its powered by gravity except the lift hill.. by definition it is definately a coaster.
