Hey guys, so I'm not a big ride person but what is your favorite ride. I'm a scary cat when it comes to ride.I'm trying to get the confidence to ride splash mountain because it looks like so much fun.

Splash is a wonderful ride! They include a number of smaller drops to prepare you for the big one! Definitely give it a shot. It is one of my favorites. Absolute favorite for me? Pirates. It's a nostalgia thing. Hop on YouTube and check out one of the Splash point-of-view videos. You'll be singing the songs for days

Splash is my favorite ride, iris amazing. The drop isn't so bad, and you'll know it's coming. Luckily, Disney isn't all thrills, so you can have fun while your party is on splash
I really want to try it I'm just afraid I'll freak out on the ride! The drop doesn't look that bad then then again I am a baby

I hope you decide to give it a try, it's definitely not as extreme as it appears from the viewing areas. And it's all of maybe a few seconds. You've got this! And if it comes down to it and you really don't want to, hop on something else -- that's the neat thing about Disney, something for everyone!
That's what making me want to do it. The drop is only 2 seconds! i bet once i try it i'll love it haha. I'll just close my eyes the first time.

Splash is fun. Try it. My daughter was afraid for years and now (at the ripe old age of 12) it's her favorite. I have my big, cathartic, "I'm really here" laugh on Big Thunder. If you don't do "rides", just enjoy the attractions. Mickey's Philharmagic is so much fun. Small World, Pooh, Pirates, Dumbo, Jungle and Peter are classics. The TTA and Buzz are fun if you're not up for Space.
As we tell our kids - Mickey would never do anything that wouldn't bring you joy and laughter. Try it once and see. If you don't like it, try it later when you "grow up" (although none of us ever want to do that!)

Same here! I'm a freaker when it comes to rides. So I don't ride much of anything. I also have yet to do Splash Mountain. Does look fun though! I freak out when it comes to drops, high speeds, spins.

Most of what people consider "rides" aren't here. That's why Disney really calls them "attractions". This isn't the "other place that starts with U". Disney attractions have story, meaning, history. It's more than just a ride. That's the beauty of Disney - at least one of many beauties - and one of the many reasons all of us are hooked. We appreciate their efforts to make it more than that. Even what you would consider a "ride" like Splash has a great story to it. That attraction doesn't even end with the big drop. There's more to the story.

I had this same problem with Splash. My wife loves it, but I was afraid of the drop so she kept having to ride it without me. On my last trip I finally got up the courage to do it and I am grad I did, it's such a fantastic ride. The drop isn't that bad and it's over before you know it.

The drop on splash is a couple of seconds on what is an amazing ride through the brae patch if you know the characters and the songs you will love it
I actually bet you would even if you had never seen them before it is just fun

Not all about the thrill rides though it is hard to pick one of the top 3 from Studios
Should do a fav ride that isn't a coaster thread that changes everything
