Fulton's is good- however we have had a few "less than spectacular" meals there - mroe good than bad, though.

For our nice dinners every year we like Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge and California Grill on top of the Contemporary.

Both have great wine. Wilderness Lodge has great salmon and steaks as well as some unique foods to try -Buffalo, Elk, etc. Quiet and very nice. California Grill has equally great food, and many of the tables have nice views of the Magic Kingdom including fireworks.

We have never had a bad meal at these two places we feel that they compare in quality to some of the nicer places in Philly and DC where my fiance and I are from.

The restaurants in Norway and Morocco are great. I would also like to eat at Jiko in Animal Kingdom Lodge, but I saved a few pennies by going to Boma.

Narcossee's is also great.

There are just to many choices for a nice place to eat.

Next time I go , I think I will eat my way through Walt Disney World.

last time we were at WDW our top 3 restaurants were:

1) Fulton's Crab House (Excellent Calimari appetizer and main course of Crab Claws)
2) Jiko
3) Artist Point

All were excellent. Pricey but excellent. It makes me hungry thinking about it. :slurp:

Fulton's Crab House is out of this world. When I was there in May we went there twice. I have had nothing but wonderful meals there. You have to try the twin Alaskan lobster tails.

The Brown Derby

My favorite dining experience so far has been at The Brown Derby at Disney-MGM Studios. The combination of food, service and decor were the best so far for me. The waiter was a true professional. I never had to ask for anything. He knew exactly what the table needed and yet was not intrusive. The food was delicious and I loved the theming. My entire family had a great time!

While you've been getting responses, I think we'd be able to be more helpful if we had a better idea of what YOU mean by "very nice", as that's so VERY subjective -

What are your top concerns? Atmosphere? Wide variety on menu? Will you be taking kids, and if so, age & #?

By selecting Fulton's, you'll either be dining late or missing park time - is this a concern to you? Without some of this information I don't even know where to begin - there are just too many "very nice" places if none of the above matter to you ...

Of those already mentioned, California Grill & Le Cellier would be at the top of my list. If Downtown Disney is your desire, I'd select Portobello Yacht Club, which is advertised as "regional Italian cuisine", but has a great menu with a nice variety, and the best wine list on the property.

Our new family favorite is 'Ohana. We tried it on our last trip and it was great. All you can eat food with a view of Seven Seas Lagoon. I could see the Castle as I muched on my Chicken Wings. Yum!

These are good

My family and I always have excellent meals at:

CA Grille-be sure to try the pork tenderloin with Balsamic glaze--super tender (also be sure to go late so you can view WISHES from the 15th floor)

Flying Fish-try the potato crusted snapper--unlike any meal you'll ever eat

Canada's Le Cellier-amazing steaks here--very good

England's Rose and Crown-try the pie sampler--very unique (and sit outside as to view illuminations)
