Glad you are gonna correct that Sanaa thing. I think you will really like the bread service.

We were thinking of trying Sanaa on our next trip in July, but I was worried my kids wouldn't like the Indian/African flavor. I was looking at the menu just the other day and it looked great (and saw they have steak for the less adventurous eaters). I thought it would be fun to eat there after a day at AK.

It's hard to top the Dorothea Redmond designed restaurants at Magic Kingdom for me. Crystal Palace, Liberty Tree Tavern, Columbia Harbour House... those are the reasons I keep going back. I ate inside the castle quite often when it was called King Stephan's and the food wasn't very good but the atmosphere was amazing. You could get a table easily at nearly any time of the day. I miss that.

San Angel Inn is great too, but not as nice of an experience as it once was. Trails End has a terrific atmosphere and simple decor. Of the more recent options I've been impressed by Carthay Circle and Yak and Yeti.

Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe is our sentimental favorite and we always, always eat there at least one evening. For park TS, San Angel has a beautiful atmosphere- forever twilight on the patio overlooking a rumbling volcano. We ask for a table on the water and tell them we'll wait. The food is not exceptional, but OK. The Biergarten decor is great, but we think the food is awful- two chances and we are done, unfortunately.

I agree CR is a must do at least once just to check out Sunny Eclipse.

LOVE Y&Y, our only must do every trip! BOG, Sci Fi, and Coral Reef also rank high. Can't wait to try Skipper Canteen, Love all the rooms at Boathouse, and for pure beauty at a CS, you can't beat Pizzafari!

Sanaa is probably our all time favorite. Be sure to have the bread service.

Was MP snooty? Are the menus in English? I never made reservations there because I don't know ANY French and didn't want to feel like my server hated me.

No, Monsieur Paul's is not snooty in the least. It is an upscale room, but since it's in a theme park there are plenty of diners properly attired in shorts and golf shirts. The menus are in English, and all the waiters, while French, speak excellent English. It's one of my favorite Epcot restaurants - great food and terrific service!

As to atmosphere, there are two that come immediately to mind - the Coral Reef, and the San Angel Inn. I grew up near Disneyland, and it was a long time before I could afford the Blue Bayou Restaurant. The San Angel Inn has that same type of atmosphere - a moonlit night, all day long. They've redone their menu in the past couple of years, and is now much better than they used to be.

The Coral Reef has always been one of my favorites. I wish the menu was a little larger, but I've always been able to find something that works. And that view into the tank, when seated down by the glass, is just incredible!
