My ideal would be GF, but just can't seem to afford it.:( I voted SSR because we just had the most wonderful time there! We were in the Paddock section with the new slide, and pool area with the quick service option for lunch and refillable mugs! Convenient! We were also near the bus stop, and never had to wait! We walked to the Turf Club/main pool/quick service area ( always nice) and also walked to DTD as well as taking the boat! Our trip was fabulous over all of our trips ( even the POLY - sorry POLY lovers).;)
We want to stay at the Contemporary, but also just can't seem to afford it- same with Yacht Club/Beach Club!:(
No values anymore for us. Art of Animation suites might be OK, but they are expensive. My boys want to stay there.
Why not any moderates listed on this poll? Just curious?:angelic:

Six months ago I would have voted for the Poly, but I am so saddened with what they are doing to it now. I do not like the idea of the DVC units being built over the water. So now, I choose the Wilderness Lodge for its theming and The Boardwalk for ease of access to Epcot and DHS.

Another vote here for the (not listed in poll) Wilderness Lodge. It's beautifully themed and very comfortable. I've stayed at other deluxes a few times over the years, in addition to the Swan and Dolphin; but, if I could only pick one hotel, it's definitely Wilderness Lodge.

Contemporary for me. I love being able to walk home after a long day at magic kingdom without waiting for the monorails. & my favorite thing in the whole world is sitting on my balcony facing magic drinking my coffee in the morning and hearing the train whistle. Nothing beats it! & I love the smell of the lobby haha

Yacht and Beach Club! The pools of course are amazing, but I love every nook and cranny of the lobbies, hallways, and special little rooms like the Solarium in Beach Club. My happy place!

I'm going off from the poll and saying POR. I love how peaceful the place is at night walking back from the bus. Great food court. Lots of quiet pools.

It is the closest thing to staying on Tom Sawyer Island.

POR for me. Great landscaping, and it's just overall relaxing. Great resort to just walk around; not too crowded, but it doesn't feel deserted.

I'm curious, what made you hate the GF?
The music they pipe in to the buildings never quit playing when we called the desk at 3:30 am and ask if they could turn it down they said the system was broke and we would just have to try to sleep through it. I tried very hard but the reason I was awake at 3:30 am was the music..I still hear it in my sleep occasionally. Also the counter service drink machine was broke and we could not refill our mugs that we just bought, We had to go to 1900 park fair for them to be refilled. All of this went on for 4 days until they moved us. I guess maybe I was just expecting more out of the GF because it is their Flagship. None of it is a big deal but when you are paying that kind of money I guess I just expect more.
