Favorite resort lobby...

First answer... Favorite one happens to be the lobby at the Resort I'm able to book a room at....
But favorite for atmosphere ... Poly, followed verrrry closely by WL.

I'm partial to the Poly....because that's my favorite resort and as others have mentioned.... the smells and sounds

But with that being said...

Can you really beat the AKL and WL for that I just walked in and....."Wow - holy cr*p -- this place is pretty freakin' sweet" feeling?

First time posting.... My fav resort lobby is definately the Poly..... But before they did the renovations to it. I still like it but its not as nice as the original.

Welcome! The Poly is beautiful! You really do feel like you're in Hawaii. Aloha!

Wilderness Lodge w/ the Hot Springs bridge and the totem pole and just look up and go WOW!
Grand Floridian is gorgeous. It really does take you back to that time period!
Polynesian has such a feel of the Islands of Hawaii. Even though the leis are plastic, when they say Aloha it's a close to it as you can get! The grounds are also breathtaking!

Hands down...The Grand Floridian. I even love the floor- i.e. all of the character details.

Honorable mention goes to the Contemporary. I am a big fan of Mary Blair's work and just having that huge mural in there makes me smile...especially the 5 legged goat.
